Anyone who purchases one or more weeks at Club Las Calas becomes a Member of the Club and remains a Member as long as they continue to pay their Maintenance Fees on time each year. There are around 4,700 members drawn largely from the UK and Norway, although over 30 countries are represented in the Club membership.
The majority of Members own either one or two weeks, although there are a few who own a greater number. Overall the average holding is 1.8 weeks per Owner
The rights and responsibilities of Members are clearly set out in the Club’s Constitution, a copy of which is issued to all new Owners when they complete their first purchase at the Club. The minimum age for membership is 18 and there is no maximum age. Membership rights are granted in perpetuity and may be bequeathed or gifted at the discretion of the Owner concerned.
The Members elect a Committee with five members drawn from all areas of the Resort. That said, while individual Committee Members bring experience of ownership in their respective parts of the Resort, they seek at all times to represent of all members of the Club.
